The first beer production in Japan actually began on the site of the present Sapporo Beer Factory in 1877 based on German beer-making techniques. Presently it is a three storied brick building converted to a museum dedicated to the history of beer brewing with exhibits explaining the process of making beer including a large copper kettle, the ingredients needed for beer-making, as well as the history of Sapporo beer in Japan.
World Beer Museum
Unlike the Sapporo Beer Museum, World Beer Museum is a cosmopolitan version of a Beer museum. This is located in Tokyo, Japan. The Museum has a casual environment and beers brewed all over the world. They have more than 150 variety of beers and various global cuisines. The place has an open air terrace, where you could enjoy your beer and admire the scenic beauty of the city.

The Beer and Oktoberfest Museum is situated in Munich, Germany. This museum holds the record of history of the yearly Oktoberfest and exhibits the Bavarian beer tradition and its related brewing industry. Located in one of Munich’s oldest houses of 1327, the museum was opened in 7th September, 2005. The best part of the museum is a complete collection of original beer mugs used during the early years of the Oktoberfest event.
